The panel
Signing in, the pages of the panel, the top bar, the live connection and how lists and settings work.
Open the panel URL in a browser, for example https://monitor.example.com/ or http://SERVER_IP:8899/, and sign in with your username and password. Every account can manage everything (see Users). People who only need to look can use a share link instead, without an account.
Pages
| Page | What it does |
|---|---|
| Overview | The status in one line, a card with the problems (only when something is wrong), four metrics with trend lines, the server map, the services and servers, server cards with usage rings and this month's traffic, and recent incidents. Hover a server card's status to see its alerts. |
| Servers | Add servers and get their install commands; settings for each server (thresholds, traffic quota, map location, note, displayed IP, blocklist, project directories, AI on-call, required services). Click a server to open its details page. See Servers. |
| Monitors | Website and API checks: add, edit, pause, Check now. See Monitors. |
| Security | Vulnerabilities that affect your servers. See Vulnerability checks. |
| Traffic | Request statistics and the blocklist / allowlist. See Traffic and blocklist. |
| AI | AI reports, on-call investigations, models and analysts. See AI analysis and AI on-call. |
| Incidents | Every confirmed outage, grouped by day: start, end and duration |
| Groups | Organize servers and monitors by project; each group can have its own alert recipients. See Alerts and email. |
| Share links | Read-only links with their own key. See Share links. |
| Settings | General, map, alert notifications, outgoing mail, vulnerability checks, traffic and blocklist, passkeys and default thresholds. See Settings. |
| Users | Sign-in accounts. See Users. |
| System | The master's own status (version, uptime, database size, agent packages, IP-to-country database), software updates, Help and support (this documentation, and the email address for problems) and the email log |
How pages work
- Under each page title, one line sums up the status, for example "3 servers · 3 online".
- Lists are grouped, by group or by day. The common actions are at the end of each row; rarely used and destructive ones, such as Delete, are in the ⋯ menu.
- Changes on the Settings page and in AI → Settings are saved as soon as you change them: there is no Save button. A short "Saved" message confirms it.
- Forms in a window (adding a server, a monitor, a share link…) still have Save and Cancel.
- While data arrives, the page shows Loading…. If a page can't be loaded (for example the connection to the master dropped), it says This page could not be loaded, with a Try again button, and a short message shows the error.
- The side panel that opens when you click a server or a monitor on the Overview closes with Esc or a click outside it. Clicking another server shows that one instead.
The top bar
- While the connection to the master is fine, nothing is shown. Reconnecting… appears when the browser has lost its live connection (Server-Sent Events): it reconnects and catches up by itself. Changes appear immediately, with no need to reload.
- Update x.y.z appears when a new version is available. See Upgrade.
- The language selector switches the panel between English, Spanish and Chinese instantly, for this browser only. See Languages.
- The theme button switches between system, light and dark.
When AI analysis is on, a button in the bottom-right corner opens the AI assistant.
Times
All times on the panel use the time zone in Settings → General → Time zone, for example America/Panama, whatever time zone the viewer's computer uses. With Automatic, each viewer sees their own time zone. See Settings.
Colors and states
| Color | Server | Monitor |
|---|---|---|
| Green | Online, no active alerts | Up |
| Yellow | Online with active alerts (high CPU, memory or disk, a service down…), shown as "1 issue" / "N issues"; or reports have been late for a few intervals | Slower than its slow-response threshold, or a certificate close to expiry |
| Red | Offline: no report within the offline time (30 seconds by default) | Down, after several failed checks in a row |
| Grey | Registered, waiting for the agent's first report | Waiting for the first check, or paused |
The rules that decide when something is "down" are in Alerts and email.
Sharing what you see
When you click a server on the Overview, the address bar changes to something like #/?server=3. Send that address to another user of the panel and it opens on the same server.
