The panel, alert emails, the 3rmonitor command and the installer in English, Spanish and Chinese.

The web panel, the alert emails, the 3rmonitor command and install.sh are available in English, Spanish and Chinese.

Panel

Each browser chooses its language with the selector in the top bar, or on the sign-in page. The page switches instantly, without reloading, and the choice is remembered in that browser. It only changes what that browser displays.

Alert emails

Settings → General → System language sets the language of the alert emails, and the default language for visitors who haven't chosen one. Empty means Automatic (browser language).

The AI writes its reports, its explanations in alert emails, its investigations and the assistant's answers in the system language too.

  • New installations use the installer's language: the terminal's language, or --lang.
  • Installations upgraded from 1.0.3 keep Chinese as the system language.
  • Records saved before an upgrade (old incidents, old check messages) stay in the language they were written in.

Command line and installer

They use the first of these environment variables that is set: MONITOR_LANG, then LANGUAGE, LC_ALL, LC_MESSAGES and LANG. Any other value, such as C or POSIX, means English. install.sh --lang en|es|zh overrides them.

sudo bash install.sh --lang es
MONITOR_LANG=es 3rmonitor --help

With sudo, put the variable after sudo, or it is dropped:

sudo MONITOR_LANG=es 3rmonitor server list
