HWD POS Guides
Install, set up, configure and maintain HWD POS on your own server.
HWD POS is a point-of-sale and ERP system for hardware stores and lumber yards, developed by 3R Soft (Panama). It is a native PHP application backed by MariaDB: it does not need a framework, Composer, Node or Docker on the server. You install it once on a Linux server in your store, and every terminal, tablet and printer on the local network uses it through a web browser.
These guides walk you through the whole life cycle of a server, from choosing the hardware to keeping it up to date.
Where to start
If this is your first installation, follow this order:
Check the requirements: a supported Linux system, enough memory and a fixed IP on your network.
Run the one-command network install. It takes 10 to 20 minutes on a clean server.
Complete the browser setup wizard with your activation key.
Work through the first steps after installing: company settings, users, printers and backups.
